World AIDS Day is commemorated each year on 1st December<\/strong> as a global moment of solidarity, remembrance, and action in the ongoing response to HIV. In Papua New Guinea, the day carries a unique importance. Our country continues to face one of the highest HIV prevalence rates in the Pacific<\/strong>, and World AIDS Day provides an opportunity to bring communities, leaders, and partners together to renew commitment, strengthen awareness, and support those living with and affected by HIV.<\/p>\n
